PIERCAN produces containment gloves for gloveboxes, RABS, and isolator applications while offering secure glove-changing systems such as the BCS Cuff Ring for pharmaceutical applications and the ejector ring (STIC ring) for nuclear applications. PIERCAN also provides various technical parts made of elastomers and flexible plastics (sleeves, half-suits, flexible isolators). PIERCAN supplies many industries, including the pharmaceutical, nuclear, hospital, veterinary, microbiology, composites, electronics, aeronautics, and research industries, and meets the strict regulatory requirements of each. PIERCAN was founded in Paris in 1948 and is now headquartered in Normandy. PIERCAN has two production sites in France: Port-en-Bessin, which specializes in the manufacture of elastomer products (gloves and technical parts), and Bondy, for flexible plastic products (isolators, sleeves, half-suits, bags, and accessories). The American subsidiary, PIERCAN USA INC, created in 1995, is located in San Marcos, California, and processes the same product categories as Port-en-Bessin. PIERCAN France is certified ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015. PIERCAN USA is also ISO 9001: 2015 certified.
