About Pioneer Human Services
Pioneer Human Services is a nonprofit social enterprise on a mission to eradicate mass incarceration through innovative social entrepreneurship. We have over 35 programs across Washington state that provide counselling and treatment, diversion services, affordable housing and job-readiness training. We also operate a diverse line of businesses, including aerospace manufacturing, aerospace parts warehouse distribution, and food services, which provide on-the-job training and work experience for the people we serve while generating revenue that helps fund our social mission. As social entrepreneurs, we combine the passionate pursuit of our mission with the discipline and innovation of a for-profit company.
