About PlasmaAir AG
At PlasmaAir AG, with more than 25 years of experience in industrial plasma technology, we envision a future where high-temperature industrial processes are fully electrified, carbon-efficient, and powered by advanced plasma solutions. Our mission is to transform how industry generates heat, converts materials, and produces energy—replacing fossil-based systems with clean, controllable, high-performance plasma technology. We design and deliver industrially scalable plasma torch systems from low to high power, as well as turnkey plasma plants for customer-specific applications such as hydrogen production. Our systems are engineered for continuous operation in real-world environments and include the complete package: power supply, gas and cooling systems, PLC control, peripherals, and plant interfaces, covering electrical outputs typically in the range of 5–200 kW. Our technologies bridge the gap between pilot-scale innovation and full industrial deployment, enabling reliable high-temperature processes across energy, materials, and waste-to-value applications. Our plasma systems support the production of high-value, sustainable end products, including: Hydrogen and high-quality carbon black via plasma-assisted methane (CH₄) pyrolysis Clean synthesis gas (H₂/CO) through steam plasma gasification of hazardous organic and inorganic materials, including vitrification of inorganic residues High-quality carbon black for batteries, conductive materials, polymers, and industrial fillers In parallel, we support the electrification of high-temperature processes in sectors such as glass, metals, advanced materials, and chemical manufacturing, and extend our sustainability impact through exhaust air treatment solutions (e.g., for battery test stands and ethanol-containing exhaust streams). We are also currently developing and building a Direct Air Capture (DAC) pilot plant to remove CO₂ from ambient air—supporting cleaner and more climate-neutral industrial operations.
