PolarityBio is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing multicellular regenerative biologics for chronic wound healing. Our lead investigational therapy, SkinTE®, is an autologous heterogeneous skin construct designed to regenerate functional, full-thickness skin in patients with complex wounds — including diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs), pressure ulcers, and traumatic wounds. SkinTE has received FDA Breakthrough Therapy Designation and Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy (RMAT) Designation for Wagner Grade 1 diabetic foot ulcers, and is currently pursuing Biologics License Application (BLA) submission — which would make it the first BLA-approved wound care therapy in nearly 30 years.
