POPS (Pacific Ocean Production Studios) was founded to confront the deeply rooted, systemic issues surrounding child sexual abuse, exploitation, and grooming on school campuses and in youth organizations. Backed by the thirty-year institutional risk-management heritage of David Poms, POPS is a newly formed subsidiary of Poms & Associates. POPS produces advanced media and specialized training solutions designed to shift institutional culture while protecting students. Our team is committed to making an impact and helping communities create inhospitable environments for predators. ✦ ✦ ✦ ABOUT DAVID POMS (Founder, CEO) For more than thirty-five years, David Poms has helped educational institutions identify, manage, and mitigate complex risks. His perspective on institutional child safety, however, was shaped through direct experience with some of the most consequential abuse crises in modern history. Through his work involving the Catholic Church, managing risk for many public entities and his service with the U.S. Olympic Committee, David gained a firsthand understanding of how grooming, abuse, and institutional failures can occur in plain sight when safeguards, accountability, and culture are not strong enough to protect those most vulnerable. Those experiences prove there's more to be done to protect children. Grooming awareness and professional boundaries are frequently becoming part of state laws across the country. POPS is at the forefront of this movement to eliminate any false sense of security schools get from standard compliance training. With the launch of POPS and upcoming media initiatives, David is centering his professional legacy on a singular, direct objective: creating high-impact initiatives to stop grooming behaviors before harm occurs. ✦ ✦ ✦
