Rebuilding Futures Alliance, launching in January 2025 with CIC status, will work to reduce reoffending by facilitating inclusive and sustainable employment pathways for those with previous convictions. Evidence shows that employment is the single most effective factor in preventing reoffending. Currently 1 in every 2 ex offenders returns to prison within 6 months of release. Provide meaningful employment and this figure reduces to 1 in 5. The Alliance brings together award-winning grassroots organisations and responsible businesses delivering shared-value creation impacting far beyond those engaged.
