I co-founded Recruiter Reboot with Julie McGrath to solve a specific problem: owners could feel the business was losing money somewhere, and nobody was showing them where. Everything starts with the Transformation Audit, because the revenue a recruitment business loses is rarely sitting where anyone is looking for it. It hides in the parts that felt solved a long time ago, a process that worked when things were simpler and never got revisited, or a stage in the lifecycle where candidates and clients quietly drop out without anyone having mapped it. It compounds without anyone choosing it, not because the business is badly run, but because it was built for a different version of itself. We run a full diagnostic across two layers of the business: the 10 stages of the recruitment lifecycle where revenue is won or lost, and the 9 areas of the transformation engine that shape strategy. It shows the owner exactly where the business is leaking revenue and what to fix first, so anything we build afterwards solves the right problem rather than the most obvious one. Between us, Julie and I have 34 years of combined recruitment experience and we have trained and worked with over 400 recruitment businesses.
