To become a leading global supplier of high-purity helium from Tanzania’s Rukwa Basin, delivering sustainable helium to meet the world’s rising demand for critical industries. In addition, our helium is a primary occurrence, not associated with hydrocarbon production – giving the world a greener and more secure supply option. Rift is targetting IPO in March 2026. Rift’s Tanzanian licences are located within the southern Rukwa Basin, adjacent to high-concentration helium seeps, including the Itumbula helium springs, which have recorded helium concentrations of up to ~10%. The Rukwa Basin hosts a proven working subsurface helium system, demonstrated by helium shows in the Tai-1 and Tai-1A wells, confirming effective source, migration, reservoir and seal elements. Rift’s prospects are shallower than previously drilled targets, offering improved structural trapping potential and increasing the probability of encountering free helium gas accumulations, rather than helium dissolved in formation waters. Multiple structural traps have been identified and imaged using legacy 2D seismic and gravity data, significantly de-risking the exploration model ahead of drilling. Following IPO, Rift plans to acquire 3D seismic data and utilise cost-efficient drilling techniques to test these structures and target economically recoverable helium reservoirs, with a clear pathway toward commercial production.
