About Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southwest Florida provides essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. With the generosity of our community, the efforts of our volunteers, staff and local McDonald’s restaurant owner-operators, we are meeting our mission through three programs. The Ronald McDonald House® provides lodging, meals, and other supportive services for families with children receiving medical treatment. Families can stay at a Ronald McDonald House anywhere from one night to several months, depending on their family’s needs. The Ronald McDonald Family Room® at Golisano Children’s Hospital provides food, refreshments, laundry facilities, and a relaxation area for family members of hospitalized children. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® Program provides dental care through our partnership with two healthcare providers to underserved children. Of the 40 RMHC Care Mobile programs worldwide, we proudly have two to serve our community.
