I'm a fractional Chief Data and AI Officer for mid-market companies and mission-driven nonprofits, the executive-level data leadership they need but can't yet justify hiring full time. I've spent my career building and running data teams inside large companies, so I start from how your business actually works and build the data and AI into it, instead of handing you a strategy and leaving you the integration. Before going independent, I led a team of 16 data scientists across a global group of two dozen at General Mills, delivering $118M in value, and grew Ovative Group's data science org 142% in 11 months with zero attrition. Most consulting ends at the recommendation. Mine ends when the outcome is real and your team can sustain it without me. When the work needs a specialist outside my lane, I bring in someone vetted rather than fake it. Engagements run two ways: an ongoing fractional role until you've grown into a full-time hire, or a focused engagement with a hard end date that stands up one capability and hands it off.
