Rough Trail Ventures is the firm I founded to advise boards and executive teams on the economics and institutional design of professional-services firms. My work focuses on situations where changing economics, governance, ownership, operating models and investment requirements are forcing firms to rethink how they are structured and managed. This includes Future of Professional Services Board Sessions, Economic Reality Reviews, Transformation Reality Reviews and Economic Portfolio Architecture. My clients include Big Four, mid-tier professional-services firms, challengers, and private equity firms.
