Salt Road Studio is an international creative studio founded by Gina Keatley, operating between New York City and Ako, Japan. The studio brings together contemporary art, artist-led publishing, and global residency programming through a practice rooted in movement, cultural exchange, and creative exploration. Home to the Untamed Moderns art practice, the Minute Muse publishing project, and the developing Salt Road Residency, the studio creates opportunities for artists, collectors, and creative communities to connect across disciplines and borders. Inspired by historic trade routes that carried ideas as well as goods, Salt Road Studio explores how place, travel, memory, and human connection shape contemporary creative work. Through exhibitions, publications, educational programs, and international collaborations, the studio supports meaningful artistic exchange while fostering new perspectives on art and culture.
