Scale Ireland
An independent not-for-profit organisation which supports, represents and advocates on behalf of Ireland's start-ups.
About Scale Ireland
Supporting our most innovative indigenous companies to scale is essential to safeguard Ireland’s economic future. An independent non-profit providing the bridge between the startup ecosystem and government, our mission is to secure a more supportive policy environment that empowers Ireland’s innovation-driven enterprise to succeed and scale. Our History: Organisation Origins In late 2016 Dogpatch Labs, a leading startup hub in Dublin’s Digital Docklands, identified that Ireland’s startup community needed a strong voice to engage with government around policy. The team secured seed funding to address this need, and in 2018 launched the “Startup Policy Project” with the view to incubating and spinning out a new independent representative organisation.
