About SEMI Foundation

The SEMI Foundation is the nonprofit arm of SEMI, focused on strengthening the global semiconductor talent pipeline through high-impact workforce development programs. We work across the education, workforce, and industry ecosystem to expand awareness of microelectronics careers, spark interest in STEM fields, and connect students and job seekers to hands-on learning and real-world training opportunities. Our mission is to develop and promote pathways into the semiconductor industry, helping individuals gain the skills and experience they need to succeed—and helping employers meet their most urgent workforce demands. We bring together employers, educators, and workforce partners to accelerate talent development and drive long-term industry growth. From K–12 engagement to college readiness, from apprenticeship development to industry-led career exploration, the SEMI Foundation is advancing the next generation of semiconductor professionals.
