ABOUT SHARE FOOD PROGRAM Share Food Program is the largest-serving hunger relief organization in the Philadelphia region, and one of the largest independent food banks in the nation. Today, about 22 percent of Philadelphians live in poverty—twice the rate of the national average, and the reason Share Food Program is here. Each month, Share feeds hundreds of thousands individuals—more than half of whom are children and seniors.
