Silk or Lace is a marketplace for realistic human hair wigs and hair toppers, created to make finding the right hair more approachable, personal, and informed. We offer thoughtfully selected human hair wigs and toppers for women at every stage of their hair journey, including the Silk or Lace Collection, one-of-a-kind lightly worn pieces, and carefully selected hair from boutique brands. Shopping for a wig or topper can feel overwhelming. With so many choices in color, length, density, construction, cap size, and fit, knowing where to start isn't always easy. Customers can shop online or book a virtual or in-person consultation for guidance in finding a piece that looks natural, feels comfortable, and fits their everyday life. Silk or Lace was founded in 2020 by Suran Yoo after her own experience with hair loss. While preparing for her engagement photos, she struggled to find a realistic hairpiece and discovered the world of wigs and toppers. She quickly saw how empowering the right piece could feel, but also how confusing and fragmented the process of finding one could be. As Suran shared her experience online, women began reaching out with the same questions: Where do you shop? How do you know what is realistic? What actually works? That experience inspired her to create a more approachable way to discover and shop for hair. Today, Silk or Lace brings thoughtfully curated wigs and toppers together in one place, giving customers more ways to find hair that fits their needs, preferences, and budget. Based in Plano, Texas, we serve customers locally, across the country, and worldwide. Beyond the marketplace, we offer consultations, host events, and create opportunities to experience hair in a more personal way. Finding the right hair shouldn't be the hard part.
