About Skilled Futures
Skilled Futures is a next-generation skills and employability organisation dedicated to transforming the futures of young people who have disengaged from traditional education. We bridge the gap between education and employment by delivering flexible, employer-driven programmes that build confidence, resilience and real-world skills. Every year, more young people become Electively Home Educated, fall into NEET status, or struggle to access mainstream education. At the same time, employers face widening skills shortages. Skilled Futures exists to bring those two challenges together ā and solve them. We connect young people with the skills employers actually need, delivering targeted programmes that lead directly to apprenticeships, further training and meaningful employment. Why We Exist - 123,000+ young people are now electively home educated - 900,000+ young people aged 16ā24 are NEET - The government has committed Ā£190M to youth unemployment and employability - Employers nationwide face critical labour shortages This crisis requires more than another training provider. It requires a digitally intelligent, employer-connected solution built for scale and impact. That is Skilled Futures. What We Do At Skilled Futures, we design and deliver high-impact training pathways across: š¹ Foundation Apprenticeships š¹ Skills Bootcamps š¹ Employability & NEET programmes š¹ EHE (Electively Home Educated) support and re-engagement š¹ Digital and sector-specific pathways linked to employer demand Every programme embeds the core skills that matter ā communication, teamwork, problem-solving, resilience, CV writing, interview preparation, and job readiness ā backed by strong pastoral support. Our Mission To ensure every young person ā regardless of background ā has a pathway to thrive, a chance to grow, and the skills to build a meaningful future.
