About SOLEcial Studies CommUNITY Academy (SSCA)

The SOLEcial Studies CommUNITY Academy (SSCA) is the world's 1st sneaker business and culture academy. We specialize in sneaker industry education and empowerment focusing on non-design careers. Our program is in its 13th year. Over 150 alumni of our program now work in footwear and fashion in various capacities. We've taught students representing over 200 countries through various partnerships. The SSCA is founded by Dee Wells and Sean Williams of Obsessive Sneaker Disorder, and Ali Shaheed Muhammad (ATCQ), and Steve Muir, Sr. of Heeling Sole 501(c)(3). We also offer career re-training for professionals looking to leave their current industry, but are unaware that the sneaker industry is an option available to them. We also serve as mentors to budding professionals in the sneaker industry. The SSCA also has the following amenities to set it apart: - Library of Laces (Web3 powered book library). - Content creation studio (for production of small podcasts and short form content)
