We're building Somnus Technologies as the private, on-device infrastructure for sleep, wellness, and longevity. The category we work in is snoring and sleep apnea, a problem tens of millions of people live with and most never get measured for. Our first product is Nightsong. It turns any phone into a sensor for sleep and snoring and gives you one honest read on your own baseline each morning. It is a wellness product. It does not diagnose or treat disease. What it captures stays on your device and is never uploaded. The real company is the layer underneath the app, not the app on top. Most of this category ships a better gadget and runs on your data. We went the other way. Privacy is the wedge, and the discipline to hold that line is the moat. Underneath the app sits the platform: an acoustic sensing engine, the Somnus Index, and a medical-device and AI layer including MORPHEX™AI and HYPNARA.
