Spindle is a small wooden player with cards full of the songs your parents love. Set a card down and the music plays. Pick it up and it stops. Nothing to learn, nothing to remember, nothing to charge. Each card is linked to an album, a playlist, or a mix you make, and plays through the streaming account already in the house. You do the setup once, in about two minutes. After that the phones and apps disappear, and all that is left are the cards. We build Spindle for the people whose music slipped out of reach when it moved onto a phone and behind a login. That includes older adults, people living with Alzheimer's, and anyone who would rather decide with their hands than talk to a speaker. Spindles are made of solid walnut, shaped and finished by hand in Boston. It sits on the mantel next to the photographs like it has always been there. They're a gift you cannot get wrong, because the songs are the ones they chose for themselves long ago. You are not giving them something new. You are giving something back. Music you can hold.
