About SPLabs
SPLabs is an electronics engineering studio specializing in battery systems and powertrain electronics - the partner OEMs, startups and industrial R&D teams call when battery-powered products need to reach production. We design the electronics that make electric powertrains work: battery management systems, high-voltage power electronics, embedded firmware and the system integration around them. And we apply the same discipline end-to-end — circuit design, PCB layout, DFM and cost-down engineering — to take products from first prototype to volume production. Behind SPLabs is a track record built where reliability is non-negotiable: BMS design, test and operation for Mercedes AMG F1 Power Units; HV DC/DC for MotoE; battery pack, BMS and inverter for a hydrogen/solar racing boat; Head of Electrical Systems at Ampersand E-Mobility; a Ph.D. on hybrid and electric powertrains at the University of Bologna.
