Our founder and CEO, Robert Nickell, is a recognized leader in pharmaceutical care with a focus on topical treatments for pain and inflammation. Since 1986, Pharmacist Nickell has been formulating advanced topical products used by professional athletes, major colleges and universities, and Olympic athletes. In 2004, Nickell was selected as the first official team pharmacist for the USA Olympic Medical Team, serving at the Athens Summer Games. From 2002 to 2008, SportPharm™ was also the primary sports pharmacy supporting all U.S. Olympic Games and training centers. His expertise and leadership have led him to advise over 85% of professional sports teams across the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB on the appropriate use of prescription medications.
