About The Animal Cause, Inc.

The Animal Cause, Inc. is a Christian 501(c)(3) nonprofit building national animal-welfare infrastructure, with Texas serving as an initial pilot and partnership-development environment. We work to strengthen the pathways that help vulnerable animals move from crisis toward care safely, lawfully, responsibly, and with greater public visibility. Our developing work includes: The Shepherd’s Ark — a mobile preservation-of-life and future transport platform currently focused on animals entrusted to TAC and the restoration of safe, lawful operating capacity. Mercy Stage — a controlled shelter and rescue visibility service creating verified, authorized, AI-assisted media packages for overlooked and long-stay animals. Participating organizations retain custody, inquiry handling, screening, medical authority, fees, and all placement decisions. National infrastructure development — volunteer systems, partner networks, resource pathways, animal and organization directories, responsible transport planning, corporate and in-kind partnerships, data systems, and future technology intended to improve coordination across animal welfare. Our long-term direction includes integrated tools connecting animal visibility, verified records, shelters, rescues, inquiries, partners, resources, volunteers, transport planning, and measurable outcomes. TAC is not currently an open emergency intake, surrender, placement, or general transport-request service. Programs and partnerships remain subject to capacity, verification, safety, written authority, funding, and compliance. Faith informs our stewardship. Accountability governs our work. Compassion must become organized.
