About The Cosmic Clash, LLC
Launched in 2012, The Cosmic Clash was built by Mike Cosmic Cota, a musician and computer programmer from El Paso who relocated to Austin a few years earlier. He met Austin music journalist through a mutual friend and eventually asked him to be TCC's editor in 2017. Since then they've published hundreds of live music reviews, album reviews, song and video premieres along with both written and filmed interviews with national and Austin-area artists. They've also booked hundreds of live shows, SXSW events and benefits.
