About Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA)
The Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA) is the not-for-profit trade body for the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) - government initiatives that drive economic growth, jobs, innovation and entrepreneurship by channelling private investment into the UK's startups and scaleups. Representing more than 400 member organisations, including entrepreneurs, investors and advisers, the EIS Association works with Government and HMRC to ensure the schemes deliver for founders and investors in every part of the country. Since 1994, the schemes have facilitated £35.5 billion of investment into more than 62,000 companies. These businesses employed 386,000 people in 2023 alone and 46.5% of UK unicorns were EIS backed.
