About The Latina Foundation
The Latina Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Latina women through community-building, personal development, and entrepreneurship. In 2024, we have made significant strides in the Greater Austin Area by expanding our programs and partnerships to create more opportunities for Latinas to thrive. Our local flagship program, Austin Latinas Unidas, has engaged over 1,900 women annually through workshops, networking events, and annual conferenced, fostering a supportive environment for Latinas to build their skills and confidence. We have partnered with local businesses, financial advisors, cultural educators, and public leaders to provide low or no-cost resources and support, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity. Additionally, we have pre-launched our first phase in Austin, creating a replicable model of community engagement through events like Austin Latina Day, and House of Chingonas SXSW Experience. Our impact is measured not only by the number of women we reach but by the stories of growth, resilience, and success emerging from our programs. In 2024, we continued to empower Latina entrepreneurs, build new networks, and celebrate cultural heritage, reinforcing our commitment to being a catalyst for positive change. As we look to the future, we remain dedicated to expanding our reach and impact, providing Latinas with the tools, resources, and community they need to achieve their fullest potential in the Greater Austin Area and beyond.
