About The Reading Institute

The Reading Institute (TRI) develops, implements, and expands the reach of reading science-aligned literacy interventions and professional learning for educators to ensure emergent readers in grades K to 2 develop the essential building blocks to become successful readers. TRI provides access to effective early literacy interventions and professional development in reading science to in-service and preservice teachers. Specifically, we provide training and programs to current and future educators to benefit emergent readers in predominantly New York City underserved communities by utilizing the Reading Ready and Reading Go! evidence-based tutoring programs and our 10-hour Science of Reading Microcredential course.
