Our mission is to give people the information they deserve about their bodies. Tota is a home-to-lab vaginal and urinary microbiome test, powered by 3rd generation metagenomic sequencing - because women deserve better. Women's health has made progress. Period tracking, fertility apps, gut health - all crowded, all growing. But the vaginal and urinary microbiome, despite affecting millions of women every year, remains one of the most under-researched and underserved areas in health. That's the gap we're building for. The problem isn't a lack of care. It's a lack of information. Traditional testing looks for a predefined list of organisms, not everything that's actually there. You can't solve a problem you can't see. Tota's test reads everything present in the vaginal and urinary microbiome, not a pre-written list of usual suspects. We're filling the information gap that's left too many women without answers for too long. This is only the beginning.
