About Type the Word
Type the Word is Bible-based typing software created specifically for Christian schools. Instead of practicing with random words or disconnected typing material, students type through the Bible. This gives them a chance to slow down, pay attention to each word, build typing fluency, and grow in familiarity with the Scripture. Type the Word brings Bible-based typing practice into Christian school classrooms with direct Google Classroom integration. Teachers can create assignments, use built-in memorization modes, and either build their own curriculum or use existing Bible typing curriculum. Over the past two years, more than 800,000 verses have been typed on Type the Word. The vision is simple: help students meditate on God’s Word while developing a valuable skill they will use for the rest of their lives.
