The Advanced Structures and Composites Center at the University of Maine is a global leader in convergent manufacturing, advanced materials, structural engineering, and full-scale testing. Operating 100,000 sq. ft. of ISO 17025-accredited laboratories and manufacturing facilities, the ASCC integrates materials development, design, manufacturing, and validation through a unified AI-driven Digital Thread. The Center specializes in large-scale additive manufacturing, composites, and rigorous testing and certification for defense, energy, infrastructure, and industrial applications. The ASCC reinforces a national reputation for quality, rigor, and rapid technology transition from TRL 1 to 7.
