About U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council

The USHBC’s mission is to serve growers and handlers by growing a healthy highbush blueberry industry. The Council is a national industry-funded agriculture Promotion, Research and Information Order. USHBC supports farms like yours through promotion, research, and education while increasing awareness and consumption of blueberries. The USHBC supports the blueberry industry in a variety of critical ways, including: o Driving increases in blueberry consumption in the US through promotion with consumers, restaurant and school food service, and food manufacturers. o Continuously funding and publicizing scientific research on the health benefits of blueberries. o Acting as a resource for managing a sustainable farm, from the best sustainable blueberry farming practices to providing crisis communication. o Opening up new international blueberry markets to American business and increasing consumer demand overseas. o Providing marketing insights, tools, and education on industry issues.
