Valley Regional Medical Center is a full-service, 214-bed acute-care hospital equipped with a Level III Trauma Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission. Additionally, we are the only accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI in Cameron County, home to the only accredited Cardiac Catheterization Lab with PCI in Brownsville, and the only Breast Imaging Center of Excellence south of San Antonio.
