Every institution runs on knowledge that was never written down. Which exceptions actually matter. What gets escalated and what doesn't. The work that's specific enough to you that no vendor was ever going to build it. It lives in the heads of your best people, and today the institution is renting it. Scout Notebook is where that knowledge gets captured. Describe the method once, written down or talked through with Scout, and it runs the same way, on every file, for whoever does that job next. The method stops being one person's and becomes the institution's, saved in a file that lives on your hardware and stays with you. The reading and the work are handled by the machine. The judgment, and every consequential decision, stays with a person. That's a term of our agreement, not a design preference. We build the part no institution should have to build for itself: the banking logic, the audit trail, the safety architecture. What we don't build is the part only you can, the exceptions and methods specific to your institution. Some institutions write those themselves. We build the rest alongside them. VisionFI is an applied AI research and engineering company, and that foundation is the Scout harness: the layer between a frontier model and the work of a regulated institution. The model reads the page. Deterministic code applies the method and produces results with a basis an examiner can follow. Borrower data rests only on your own hardware. What goes out to be read is never stored afterward, by us or by the model provider, and your data is never used to train models. When the rules move, signed updates reach every instance. Scout ships two ways on the same harness: Scout Notebook, starting with a single seat on one person's machine, and partner platforms with Scout built in. Both work the seams your systems were never going to cover, and what Scout finds goes back into the systems you already use. We add to what you have. We don't replace any of it.
