abstract ag is a Swiss AEC software company based in Basel. We build four focused products for architects, engineers, and real estate owners who've stopped waiting for the big platforms to solve their data problems. We solve a specific, well-known problem: BIM and IFC data gets created in one project phase and lost, corrupted, or made unusable by the next. Our products automate information requirements, model validation, and data handover, so built-world data stays reliable from the first project brief through to facility operations and asset lifecycle management. Four products. One position: automate the grunt work, keep humans in control of what matters. → pragmaticBIM (Define) — Know what data your project needs. → abstractBIM (Produce) — Get clean data from every model. → iterthink (Review) — Catch every issue before it becomes a problem. → {yourcompany}os (Act) — Make work flow through BPMN. They form a pipeline — Define, Produce, Review, Act — but each solves a real problem on its own. Most teams start with their biggest pain point and add the others when they're ready. No platform lock-in. We have a contrarian view on every category we work in. Every tool starts from a disagreement, not with a competitor, but with a consensus the industry treats as settled. Small team. Deep expertise. No fluff. abstract.build
