About AD:VENTURE
AD:VENTURE provides ambitious new businesses based in West Yorkshire with tailored business support to help them grow and achieve their full potential. Statistics show that around 60% of new businesses fail within the first three years. We want to change that in West Yorkshire by helping businesses identify issues that cause failure or prevent growth in the early years and provide support to increase their capability to overcome these issues. Our high-quality support services are free to new businesses and existing enterprises under three years' old because they are funded by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Partners. We deliver a range of services, including a dedicated business manager and access to our AD:VENTURE growth grant of up to £5,000. We also offer webinars and interactive workshops on a variety of business topics, as well as peer-to-peer networking and inspirational events. For younger entrepreneurs, we work alongside partners The Prince’s Trust, who deliver exploring enterprise courses to help young people aged 18 to 30. The Business Enterprise Fund is also a partner and can offer a variety of loans for start-up and growth, with start-up loans available for new businesses at a competitive rate of 6%. AD:VENTURE’s partners are: City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Business Enterprise Fund, Calderdale Council, Kirklees Council, Leeds City Council, Mayor of West Yorkshire, Prince’s Trust, Wakefield Council, and West Yorkshire Combined Authority (as the accountable body).
