AeroCore’s foam technology and engine restoration process with acceptance across all engine platforms, uses significantly less detergent and water than traditional wash processes, and meets all recycling guidelines. AeroCore’s on-wing engine cleaning/restoration takes approximately one hour per engine and has proven to yield an unmatched performance recovery across all engine types: decreasing engine operating temperatures, consistently improving fuel burn, improving visual inspection for maintainers, and increasing engine margin availability throughout the life of an engine. IMPACT: AeroCore’s foam engine cleaning/restoration technology is extremely effective at removing more overall containments than all other engine wash-down techniques. AeroCore’s technology provides the opportunity to improve the short and long-term performance of all commercial and military aircraft in addition to potentially reducing the frequency of engine wash requirements.
