The ARC Hub for Therapeutics is a national initiative dedicated to accelerating cutting-edge biomedical research into real-world therapies. Hosted by Trinity College Dublin, in partnership with RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences and University College Dublin (UCD), the Hub is part of Research Ireland’s flagship Accelerating Research to Commercialisation (ARC) Programme. It is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the ERDF Southern, Eastern and Midland Regional Programme 2021–2027. The Hub strategically unites leading academics and scientists with industry partners, investors, and the wider innovation ecosystem. Its focus is to fast-track the commercialisation of next-generation therapeutics, including biologics, small molecules, immunotherapies, and advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs). By strengthening Ireland’s innovation landscape, the ARC Hub for Therapeutics builds the capacity to translate scientific breakthroughs into tangible patient benefits through licensing, spin-outs, mentoring, training, and leadership development, cultivating entrepreneurial talent and accelerating real-world impact. Our mission is to transform scientific breakthroughs into real treatments for real people across Ireland and Europe. We are committed to turning academic excellence into commercial success by equipping researchers with the skills, knowledge, and industry exposure needed to deliver impact.
