About Augmenta
The future of autonomous building design. Most AI being applied to construction today is built on large language models, which are genuinely useful for documents and workflows, but fundamentally incapable of generating geometry that obeys physics at building scale. Routing systems through a congested plenum, satisfying thousands of simultaneous spatial constraints across interacting trades, producing designs that are code-compliant, clash-free, and actually constructible. Our frontier technology combines the triad of purpose-built computational engine, that solves deterministic geometry at building scale, machine learning models that progressively absorb the unwritten rules of the trade that algorithms cannot capture, and tacit domain construction intelligence that experienced professionals carry in their hands and minds after decades on job sites and in design offices. We are building the foundation model for construction. We started with electrical because it is the most geometrically complex, code-intensive, coordination-heavy system in a building. That foundation extends next to mechanical, plumbing, and structural, toward a platform where all trades are engineered and designed together, and coordinated from the start, eliminating the reconciliation process that costs the industry an estimated $17 billion a year in rework alone. The inventors of Generative Design at Autodesk founded Augmenta with a single conviction: that the people who build the world deserve better tools than the industry has ever given them.
