Bread Cooperative is a worker-owned collective that uses technology to improve the lives of ordinary people. Our member organizations are based all over the world. The cohort includes Symbiota, Crypto Commons Association, Citizen Wallet, Regen Coordination, and our newest member, Gardens. Our flagship product is the Bread Solidarity Fund, where we pioneered our lossless donation mechanism. This enables community giving for those who are willing, but don't have an abundance of excess funds. Rather than donating money directly to an organization, your funds can generate interest, which is then donated. We have given over $40,000 to our member organizations in just over a year of distribution; an unprecedented sum considering our treasury of $400,000. Our goal is to continue using unstoppable technology rails to meet human needs. Every tool we create is owned by us, with no influence from corporate shareholders.
