CECIMO Brussels Forum 2026 will bring policymakers, manufacturing leaders, innovators, and technology experts to discuss how manufacturing technologies strengthen Europe's competitiveness, resilience, and strategic autonomy.

CECIMO is the European Association of Manufacturing Technologies. With a primary focus on machine tools and additive technologies, we bring together 14 national associations of machine tool builders, which represent approximately 1500 industrial enterprises in Europe (EU + UK+ EFTA + Türkiye), over 80% of which are SMEs. CECIMO covers 97% of the total machine tool production in Europe and about 1/3 worldwide. It accounts for approximately 150,000 employees and a turnover of around 23.4 billion euros in 2025. CECIMO is an umbrella organisation dedicated to promoting the common interests and values of European manufacturing technologies. It encompasses the European machine tools and additive manufacturing and works tirelessly at both EU and global levels. For over seven decades, CECIMO has been instrumental in shaping the strategy and enhancing the global competitiveness of European machine tool and additive manufacturing. Since its establishment in 1950, CECIMO has played a pivotal role in fostering their development across various domains such as economy, technology, and innovation.
