The Center for Intelligence and Security (CISS) at the Bundeswehr University Munich(UniBw), is an interdisciplinary research institute, analyzing the complex security policy challenges of the 21st century in Germany and the globe. We develop well-founded, independent and forward-looking analyses to develop sustainable strategies for solving security policy and intelligence-relevant issues. We combine interdisciplinary research with teaching and the transfer of knowledge to politics and society. Our work focuses on the areas of security and intelligence, AI-based early crisis detection, wargaming and economic protection.
