The CoE-DSC is a market initiative that builds upon the efforts and results of the Data Sharing Coalition, the Data Sharing working group of the Dutch AI Coalition (NL AIC) and the Gaia-X Hub the Netherlands. Realising synergy potential of these initiatives helps to avoid fragmentation in data sharing solutions and provides the Dutch data sharing community a single gateway to knowledge, tools, and expertise. While the CoE-DSC has been founded by these three initiatives mentioned, we are an open inclusive initiative and welcome other initiatives, companies, and organisations to join us. The CoE-DSC supports organisations with realising use cases at scale to exploit value potential from data sharing and helps organisations to create required trust mechanisms for data sharing. The CoE-DSC focuses on opening and developing generic building blocks to help develop data sharing initiatives easier and at lower cost. And as such aims to achieve future interoperability between data sharing solutions across different sectors and geographies. For these activities, the CoE-DSC works closely with a community of active participants in which knowledge is shared and valorised. The CoE-DSC will also closely align with the European Data Strategy, new proposals for regulation such as the Data Act and will collaborate with initiatives such as the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC).
