We turn building façades into energy generating surfaces. A building's façade is several times the area of its roof, and on most buildings it generates nothing at all. Glass and cladding keep the weather out, and that is the end of their contribution. Our building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) technology changes that. Solar energy generating vision glass, spandrel, cladding, balustrades and skylights that install, look and perform like conventional building products, while offsetting a meaningful share of the building's operational energy. Daylight and views are preserved, thermal performance improves, and the envelope starts earning its place rather than simply costing money. We license the technology to glazing manufacturers and façade fabricators, who produce solar façade products on their existing lines. That keeps supply local to the project, shortens lead times and lets developers, architects and contractors specify BIPV without redesigning around a single overseas supplier. Our technology has been selected for Canva's new Sydney headquarters in Surry Hills, one of a growing number of projects where the façade is being asked to generate as well as enclose.
