COBstr has been working on new transparent LED technology.

COBstr develops transparent display technology, with a focus on Chip-on-Board (COB) LED technology, transparent LED displays and hologram boxes. Through COBstr LED, we explore how Flip Chip COB technology can enable robust, integrated and highly transparent LED displays for real-world applications. COBstr Box extends our work into transparent LCD technology, hologram boxes and remote presence. Our work combines more than two decades of experience with technology in China with product development, LED packaging technology and real-world display projects. We also explore a broader idea: Transparent Intelligence — what happens when digital information, humans and artificial intelligence become visible within the physical world rather than replacing it? Technology can add to reality without hiding it.
