“The world was born yearning to be a home for everyone” Coders Beyond Borders is a non profit organization based in Amsterdam that develops secure, privacy first, and responsible technology to address systemic barriers faced by vulnerable communities. We bring together tech professionals, researchers, and community members to co create solutions that improve access to justice, participation, and opportunity. Our work combines technological infrastructure with community driven models, ensuring that solutions are not only scalable, but also trusted, ethical, and grounded in real needs. Our approach is rooted in three principles: Security and responsibility first: We prioritize privacy, data protection, and responsible AI practices in every solution we build, ensuring that vulnerable communities can trust the systems they rely on. Community driven design: We work in close collaboration with the communities we serve, enabling them to contribute, lead, and shape the solutions themselves. Collaborative innovation: We partner with universities, public institutions, and civil society organizations, and actively participate in European research and innovation programs to develop scalable, evidence based solutions. Through this model, we develop and scale initiatives such as digital infrastructure for legal access, community based empowerment programs, and pathways to employment and participation.
