Data Science Research Services completed judging for the Data Curator Challenge.

Data Science Research Services (DSRS) is the data science engine behind research at Gies College of Business. Founded in 2021, DSRS was created with a bold vision: to help make Gies one of the world’s most data-forward and technology-enabled business schools. We support faculty, researchers, students, and staff across Gies by providing expertise in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, computational infrastructure, and data acquisition. Our work helps bridge the gap between advanced technology and academic research, making it easier for researchers to explore complex questions, build data-driven workflows, and uncover meaningful insights. What began as a small team supporting a handful of projects has grown into a research support unit serving departments across Gies, including Accountancy, Finance, and Business Analytics. Today, DSRS continues to act as a catalyst for research innovation, helping the Gies community use data science and AI to push boundaries and shape the future of business research.
