Decenter announced that the next Biodiversity COP will take place in Armenia this October to discuss progress on 30x30, rights of Indigenous communities, and use of genetic resources across borders.

Decenter is a space for media, culture and impactful projects that explore how technology and modernity are reshaping the world around us. We live in an age defined by technological acceleration and ecological decline. Decenter searches for how these forces can be aligned with human wellbeing, resilient communities and the living world. Decenter examines the ideas and systems shaping modern life through essays, conversations, cultural collaborations, projects and funding. Can we use advanced technology without losing ourselves? How should we live with the living world? What kinds of worlds are worth building? Topics include artificial intelligence, synthetic biology, space, food systems, ecosystems and animals, energy, transportation and urban sustainability.
