DHS Science and Technology Directorate announced the Maryland Test Facility, a reconfigurable testing sandbox for biometric tech featuring 16 HD cameras, 18 mics, and sensors tracking light to temperature.

The Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) serves as the research and development arm of the Department of Homeland Security. We help improve security across the nation by developing innovative technology, knowledge products, methods, and solutions to address the critical needs of the Homeland Security Enterprise.
