At DIVERSA, we want to bridge the gap between molecules and patients, between drug discovery and clinical application. We want to create new opportunities to improve patients' quality of life. Despite the discovery of many new targets and therapeutic molecules in labs around the world, less than 3% of them will make it to clinical stages. Most of these new molecules are discarded in the early stages of research, mostly because they cannot access the interior of the cell, where 3 out of 4 new molecules have their targets.
