Dual Risk CIC
Advancing understanding of the relationship between domestic abuse, coercive & controlling behaviour and suicide risk.

Dual Risk CIC exists to reduce suicide where domestic abuse and suicide risk collide, by building the confidence and capability of the people and communities who may have an opportunity to intervene. Whilst generic suicide prevention training is very valuable, it does not cater for the chaotic collision of domestic abuse, coercive control and suicidal ideation and so the Dual Risk (TM) Framework was created to help better educate and increase confidence across the whole community. Whether you have a passing exchange with a person, perhaps as a GP Receptionist, or you engage in conversation as a Housing Officer, or perhaps an IDVA supporting people ongoing - Dual Risk has 3 different tiers that have been designed and developed with you in mind. * Recognise * Respond * Reach In 3 tiers of training that helps to build the skill and confidence to have conversations that matter. Police, housing, safeguarding services, primary care, counsellors, debt advisers, support workers and more - we can help you be the difference to that person in a society where know to services does not equal safe from harm, unless people have the knowledge and courage to engage in dialogue.
